My Story
I was born and raised in small town outside of Fresno, CA called Sanger. I am an Apache; “Always with Pride!” After graduating high school I moved to Southern California where I attended Biola University for 3 years. I majored in Biochemistry and was part of the first Biola Women’s Swim team. After 3 years I transferred out of Biola University to California State University, Fresno, where I changed up a few things and double majored in Graphic Design and Biology. I graduated with a B.A. in Fine art with an emphasis in Graphic Design and a whole lot of sciences courses under my belt. Since then I have been working as a Graphic Designer and have been the owner of Christy Ann Photography & Design since 2001. I also worked for a few marketing companies along the way. While working my own business I have also been a Substitute Teacher since 2011. Subbing science classes has been my favorite part of subbing K-12. I would like to one day teach full-time and use my knowledge of science to inspire my students to continue their education in science and related fields.
I am currently pursuing a Masters of Education degree with Credential from National University.
